What is a pension?

A pension is a benefit of money that is paid to a person for a specific concept. In this case we are going to talk about contributory pensions and another day we will talk about non-contributory pensions.

A contributory pension is an economic compensation that a person is entitled to for their social security contributions.

What people can get a contributory pension? 

People who can obtain a contributory pension are those who have contributed to social security for the minimum established by law and who are of the age for access.

You can distinguish between:

. Disability pension, your request would be from 18 to 65 years if the person is sick or unable to work

. retirement pension, your request depends on personal circumstances to ask them in advance or not

Are access to pensions being reduced?

No. The mode of access to pensions is being changed.

If you are denied a pension, what avenues do you have?

File a prior claim, which in case of denial gives you the option to go to the social court.

Yes. If they grant the pension, they pay an agreed percentage and if they do not grant it, a minimum fee of thirty euros is charged for documentary expenses.
