More than 18 years ago www.miplayadelascanteras.com was born as a simple hobby, this Thursday April 22, 2021 I received the news that the website has been "collected" by the BNE to become part of the Spanish digital heritage (documentary), as well ensuring all its contents for future generations.

It is time to remember and fondly remember all those who have given their grain of sand so that www.miplayadelascanteras.com will achieve this very important milestone. Thank you

A special recognition for Salvador Galván, he has been with me without asking for anything in return from the beginning, programming the different designs and pending any computer problems. Thanks Borito, brother.

My thanks also to those responsible for the State Public Library in Las Palmas for having chosen our website so that it will be part of the extensive Spanish documentary heritage.

Spanish Web Archive
The Spanish Web Archive is the collection made up of the websites (including blogs, forums, documents, images, videos, etc.) that are collected in order to preserve the Spanish documentary heritage on the Internet and ensure access to it. Due to the enormous size of the Internet and the technological means that we currently have, today it is impossible to aspire to completeness in web archiving. Therefore, to try to save as much web information as possible, the National Library of Spain has opted for a mixed model that combines massive and selective collections, as do other national libraries in the world.
